I just took the tires off the 18'' Z wheels. I'm not sure which tires to wrap them with

I dont know if it should be 225, 235 or 245. It will have a 45 side wall and obviously be 18.

The wheels are 8 +30 in front and 8.5 +33 in the rear.

I'm hoping either one will work.

I take it you rub on the side of the wheels or on top?

Probably on top. +35 is not poking out too much, his side wall must be huge though.

Answering your question mike, 245s have much more grip on the road, 235s is a slight stretch if you're looking for clearance and the 225s is a decent stretch if you plan on slamming it.

SanoSuke is right, as always.'
If you have no intentions of dropping the car you can run 245/45 :naughty: no problem

I ran 245s on my last set of wheels with the eibach springs.
It all depends on what you're going for. If its for function on grippy roads, id strongly suggest 245. If going slammed for looks, id suggest 225s on the front & 245 on the back

Nah, I wont be slamming it anytime soon. Just Eibachs. So I suppose 235-245 would work then? I like the idea of having a grip on the roads. Taking some turns would probably be the 245 route right?

yes sir, 245s will grip the road very good. It also depends on the brand of tires. I ran the Hankook evo v12, by far one of the best tires I've used for canyon runs & for daily driving

F.225/45/18 R. 245/45/18 are a wonder on curvy roads :) I run staggered with toyo proxy plus rear, Hankook evo v12 front and boy do I have some fun
