what tires to get

i am semi new to the whole wheel and tire thing...i am getting some axis angles for my 08 coupe..they are 20x9 with +40 offset. my question is what size tires should i get with them? and what is a good brand tire? this is really just my everyday ride. no racing or anything like that. my car is not lowered and i would like to lower it in the near future, but i dont know if it would be possible. i know blacknwhite was running some 20x9 wheels with a +45 offset and his was lowered, but dont know if he had any issues. thanks for any help.

There is a tire size calculator I use heavily, but don't have the link offhand. You can try googling "tire size calculator", unless one of the more experienced wheel guys chimes in here.

I was looking at that same setup you want and i got recomended to go with the size 245/35/20. As for what brand, I would go with the Falken Tires FK452.

were you getting the same wheels or just size? is your car lowered?

I'm running 245/35 on 20x8.5 +40 rims without issues; 245s will also fit fine on 9" wide rims.

The same wheels in matte black 20x9 all around and my car is not lowered. Still debating between those wheels and the Avant Garde Wheels M310 in 19's.
