i'm purchasing some new/used wheels, just wondering what size i should get, here's the specs on the wheels, 4x114.3, 15x6, with a backspacing of 4.250..i have no idea what that converts to in offset...btw, i have an 89 s13 fastback..with stock suspension and brakes, so not worried about clearing z brakes and coilovers, yet...what size tire should i go with and if anybody would also help me pick a brand tire, what's good now a days, i just want something that will stick to the ground while i'm cornering...thanks

edit: also i'm looking into buying another set of wheels, would this size be better, 15x6 4x114.3, backspacing of i believe 5 inches, so what would be the better offset...btw, the first set is impuls, and the second set is msw meshies!

Yokohama AVS ES100Falken AzenisBridgestone Potenza RE 750

All really good for Dry traction, but where I live it rains a lot so I have Potenza RE 950's for its wet traction capablity. Have fun wheel shopping.

Potenza RE950's rock for wet-weather areas, although they are rated all season, they are only good in about 2" of snow and no more. They are more on the performance side of the scale, which is good since you get really long tread wear with them too.
