there will be a gain in winter driving by slightly underinfalting a propper load indexed tire since it will "squish" more and give you more contact patch, but it may also lead to a "snow shoe" effect...
if you aren't going to see snow or anything, checking it in the morning every week or so and making sure it's between 29-32psi is your best bet..
if you want a bit better steering resonse, go with 33psi or even 35..depending on your liking. I run 32 front and 33-35 rear, depending on my feelings for my car..
