What % tint should i get for the fronts?

Hey guys, i want to tint my front windows and possibly the front windshield as well. What percent tint should i go with? I dont want to go with a really dark one cause i dont want too much attention. what are most of u guys rolling with?

BTW i live in CA, land of ghey cops and rules.

I'm a big fan of 20% for the sides.The windshield I wouldn't do but if you were to then I'd say 35% max for that.Any darker and at might you can't see out

Would stick with what's legal - I went with 35 because that is the limit in NC

Mines 35% front and 20% rear. I wouldn't go anything lower than 35% for the fronts..

I wouldn't do more then 35%. I have had 2 cars w/ 20% all the way around and it made it very hard to see at night if there weren't street lights. 35% is just right. Plus if you have a dark interior, it will look darker then what it is.

I've got 20% tint up front, 5% back windows and rear windshield. I have the visor strip at 5% as well.

If you decide to tint the windshield I would stick with 50%. It severly limits visibility at night. Cops will be all over you too. 50% will make it look darker everywhere else as well. Realize, tint on whole windshield is illegal.

Do you ever go to the airport to pick up or deliver someone? If so you may want to be very conservative since there are rules about tinted windows at airports.

i usually use the SUV, because i know airports are pretty picky.
