i have a 97 with a ka24de-t

i recently pulled my injectors and noticed that the plastic peice with the four little prongs on the end where the gas comes out is broken off on all 4 injectors,

after reinstalling them my car will start but idles very rought and will hardly rev to 2,000 rpm, and white smoke billows out of my tail pipe and smells badly of gas.

i think those plastic peices help adomize the gas from the injector,

after pulling my plugs they are black and seem to have gas on them

please help!

did you use new o-rings when you re-installed the injectors? The o-rings become very brittle once they are exposed to fuel. Or you may have torn an o-ring when you installed them as well. I'd think it's more of a problem with fuel leaking past the o-rings.
