My setup is a ka24det gt28r with a s15 smic and stock sr bov. 370cc stock maf and tuned ecu.

Now here's my problem:When I run a vacuum line T'ed off the fpr or under the throttle body to the bov the car idles at 10ish and when I rev it, the car just stalls. So i pulled the line off the bov and it runs good again. So what is wrong with my car? Could it be the sr bov or any other suggestions? I replaced my stock fpr with another used one and it does the same thing so I think it's not that.

ur BOV sucks.... when the vacuum is on the BOV, it is opening to Atmosphere and creating a vacuum leak...vacuum leaks in the intake pipe at idle could cause the higher idle....then when u hit the throttle the car is switching off the idle control module...and using the unmetered air from your BOV that sucks... the car stalls....I had the same problem with my 300zx....

try this...take the hose off your charge pipe that goes to your idle control without the BOV connected and see if the symptoms are the same....By doing this you are essentially creating the same vacuum leak as with the faulty BOV...If it is the same, get a Diff BOV
