I've seen them before. The runners and plenum look awfully rough internally. Cheaper casting. Not a bad price though. I'd like to see before and after dyno comparison's as well as a flow chart for the individual ports.

Very interesting... Looks like a decent quality product.

My only concern with them is if all of the runners flow equally. I know the guy that owns CPC out of Australia went through 3/4 designs on the plenum before he was able to get the flows equaled out between all of them. The shape of the plenum and the lengths of the runners are VERY important.

Here you go! Too bad i wouldnt have a way to dyno it anytime soon. I thought about this intake manifold too.

Doesn't look half bad. Anything from thailand is suspect and I would like to see some dyno runs with one in place but it might be ok. What are they asking for it?

Well if you read on their description supposedly they dyno'd it. They have two in house dynos.

On the other hand JUN Auto was one of the first companies to make a tubular manifold for the 2JZ and it flowed worse than stock. That of course was one of the first setups they made though. -Gabe

that one looks basically like a JUN manifold for the SR.

pretty lame how it keeps the stock lower piece

i dont think its worth more than $300

$500 if it was all sheetaluminum and the full thing, that would be nice.

Agree, you normally make it in one piece if you custom make a manifold. The design looks ok but maybe a bit "homemade" in some areas.

well, if anything it makes replacing the injectors an easier job!

the injector thing is really a big bonus because with the stock mani it is really a PITA to get those injectors out. However it really doesn't look like they put much thought into the overall design of the manifold because if you look at their other manifolds they make for other cars they look identical... for the most part at least. I would never put one of these on my car. Not because i know a ton about manifolds but rather because i've had a lot of experience with junk off of ebay.

I saw this and thought it was really cool,

http://ka-t.org/intakemanifoldbasic.php

The only thing I would be concerned about is the easiest way to do it would be very short runners (basically only the lower portion would be the runner, unless you put in velocity stacks, which would add maybe 2 inches.)

The other problem is that the ca lower manifold is tapped, for bolts to go into it, so you cannot attach the plenum like in that KA diy.

I think the Ebay item looks good, no point using one until you're going for a lot of power though as you'll lose a lot or response at lower revs
