Looks like the wrong photo... the rest of the headliner looks wrong too. The interior looks like it is otherwise black from the other pictures.

Not having a glass moonroof, doesn't bother me (I guess)

Although the 2004 Jaguar XJ8 I took a roadtrip in, had one, and it was nice when it was raining. I guess I would take it if offered, but it's no big deal, not having it.

Amen to that... I had a 90 Cougar that I had to replace the gasket after only a couple of years. It shrunk and left a gap at the rear causing all kinds of wind noise. That wasn't the only leak - had a windshield leak and one under the dash too.

There's a big difference in Ford sunroofs and Nissan Sunroofs!

Too bad. I am looking for a Q with the optional air conditioning. And this one also appears to have the high performance Midas muffler!

Not too long ago, a J30 was listed on Ebay with interior pics of a '96-'99 I30.

The seller fixed the mistake days later.

I think they actually had a recall on that.

Not sure...

Reminds me of a line I heard one of the new Q45 engineers say (2002+ q45)

"When it came down to either having reclining rear seats, or titanium valves, we went with titanium valves"

If all the tech that went into the Q meant not having a glass moonroof, so be it... Although I think it should have had one, because every other car does

I think the solid roof has more class, but I like being able to look up at a glass moonroof. I know that sounds stupid, but sometimes I want to know what the sky looks like right above, or get some sunlight without the noise.

Hey dont judge me!

Doesn't a glass sunroof (with shade) usually prevent the ability to have the roof tilt up for "vent" mode"?

I do not have a sunroof on my M45 and like the extra headroom - about 2 inches extra space!

On my wife's acura, the glass tilts up from the back for venting. The glass is no different than having a metal sunroof, I suppose.

Does it have a sliding sun shade or just the glass roof?

Both (assuming I understand your question).

The sun shade can be manually pulled back (sunlight then comes through the glass), or it automatically retracts with the glass when the sunroof switch is used.

Pushing the button the other way makes the back of the glass tilt up for the venting (when the glass roof is closed) - of course, if you do not pull the shade back manually at that point, the venting is not useful (different from the Q that had that little piece of shade that tipped up)! :)

The Contour had louvers in the sunshade for this. The FY33 does not.
