I don't even know where to start with this one...

My knee-jerk reaction was "Wow, the Dems are pissed that a 'regular Joe' made it to the Senate race". Then I'm reading allegations that the guy's a "plant" by the GOP? WTF is going on out there in SC?

Clyburn has called for an investigation into the source of funds that Greene used to pay his state party's $10,440 filing fee.

Well, what's fishy about the story for me is that he was getting government aid because he didn't have enough cash to survive, and then he came up with $10k to run for office?

Could it be a certain Republican S/C Senator was getting worried about being defeated in November?

Here's what I was thinking of: the guy's in trial for obscenity, and he's had to hire a public defender. In South Carolina, this requires that a person sign an affidavit of indigence (poverty), demonstrating that he doesn't have the money available to hire a lawyer.

Yet he later came up with $10,440 for a filing fee? Yeah, okay.

Doubtful.

Dems are dropping like flies. If we can replace them all with Libertarians and Independents, we MIGHT have something left to leave to our kids.

Hate to say it, but this one smells like someone hit a polecat out on Route 13!
