What the heck? Little help here! RB cam gear install.

What is this? I have never seen this on a cam gear pic befor. Some kind of balancer? I was about to install my Tomei cam gears when I cam across this thing. When I take the bolt out of the middle, it leaks oil. Any info would be appreciated.

if I can't intall my cam gears on this, they are for sale. Slightly used, good shape. $150.

rb25's have vtc, thats the vtc actuator on the cam gear.if you choose to use adjustable intake gear you need to disable vtc.most ppl leave vtc intact and add an adjustable exhaust gear.
