Any idea what those incentives are? Nissan dealers always gave few thousand dollars discount for new rogues. What has changed for 2017 rogue? Any difference driving wise?colonelcasey wrote:It is a pretty ridiculous sales pace. It's likely that Nissan and their dealers are pushing incentives like crazy in order to push volume and gain market share ahead of pure profits. They're trying the position the Rogue as the best bang for the buck to get all the hot features at a lower price point than the competition. It also doesn't help that Honda is usually terrible at inventory and Toyota has a love/hate design on their RAV4.
It'll only continue to grow once the Rogue Sport/Quasqai-clone comes to the US later this year. They'll just lump all sales under the Rogue brand and remain at the top of the pack.
I feel the same about 2.5 in rogue but i get 30mpg in city and 35 on highway so i can put up with the lack of power. It is faster and smoother than rav4 tho. I test drove cx5 because of all fake reviews and advertisement mazda is doing to make cx5 look like a sporty and fun to drive suv. it didnt feel much faster than rogue and was much smaller in size and harsh ride. How much did you pay for your rogue and what trim did you get if you dont mindNOVA718 wrote:Nissan is definitely being aggressive with selling their Rogues. I got an amazing deal on mine 2 weeks ago, especially since I was trading in a '16 Accord that I only had for 6 months and had about $2-$3k in negative equity. Plus the features and the ride comfort is much better than the Rav4. Only thing I wish this car had is the 3.5 or an updated 2.5 since the car feels pretty under powered compared to it's rivals. I really miss the 3.5 from the '02 Maxima I had.

Just got my first statement and the payoff is actually $30k lol. So much lower than what I thought it was.NOVA718 wrote:Yeah that's why I'm not complaining about the CVT since it results in much better fuel economy lol. I did notice that on a lot of reviews on Youtube for the Cx-5.
I got the Sl w/premium package for $33k and change. That includes all the taxes (philly), fees, negative equity and everything. Plus I got two free oils changes and two free tire rotations.
I'm only paying $37 extra a month for this car and my insurance premium dropped as well.
