I use the EM-3 and the EM-4, but the one I just installed was an upgraded EM-2. Here's a pic of the SR20DET I recently did:

Thats a pro looking install. Too bad you all the way across the country from me, I'd love to get my 200sx to that level. On the SDS front, I'm mainly interested in ease of installation and reliability rather than race tuning. IYO is it worth it to go SDS over retrofiting the stock harness on a essentially stock motor?

btw did you do that fuel rail yourself?

It's well and worth the investment! Spend a little cheddar now or be dealing with codes and ecu's playing up as well as black boxes to include S-AFC, VPC, just to name a few. I strongly recommend this to any novice tuner that this system is simple enough to operate. That's why it's called SDS= Simple Digital System.

Yeah I'm willing to wait a month or two to gather funds rather than watch the car gather dust.

Hmmmmm I wonder if I could sneek by with the s12 harness+ecu and a SDS system to manage the Det's fuel and spark needs. Does the sds have any interaction with the old computer or is it totally independent? Bleeck there's that cheap streak popping up again. Not to mention trying to squeeze as much free info as I can out of you :) Seriously thanks for your input.

It stands alone:D It needs no help from the factory ECU. In fact, if you left the factory wiring in there, you would be asking for an electrical disaster. If you like a clean and wireless engine bay that's functional, then this is the system for you.
