Ok so i go out and get everything to change my oil. Mobil 1 15W50 and a #208 oil filter. Get back to the house drain the oil start messin with the oil filter started thinkin it dont look like my same old filter.(Aways use mobil 1) Get it off, Tire Care Plus WTF? How did that get on ther? Started thinking........ i guess when i took my car in for tires and stuff thay must have changed it. But why? God i am so pisst

What can i do?? I am so pisst!!

well its not like if you go back to the tire place you think *might* have changed it and complain that they changed your filter for free, they arent gonna give you a free motor

yeah but to change the filter you better change the oil, then comes the question, what oil did they put it. Id be pissed and in the managers face for doing that. How you going in to change tires tells them to change the oil also is beyond me.

Even if they didnt change the oil, they had to add to it from what they lost when taking the old one off.

I highly doubt they would change the filter w/o changing the oil as well.

I know where charlie is coming from when he says he's pissed, but theres really nothing that can be done. Just make sure the next time you take the car anywhere you tell them straight up to not mess with *anything* other than what you asked them to do.

there have been shops to do stranger things. Also there is something to be done about it. Ever heard the term the customer is always right. could have been it was supposed to be for someones else car ant that car never got its oil changed. I would still go there and ask them about it. Either way they shouldnt have done it without asking him first.

That's true.

I guess my point is there's no reason to get pissed about it. Just drop by and mention it to the manager. Explain to him that you've always run factory OEM filters and synthetic oil in your car, and you'd prefer if they didn't perform unrequested work in the future. Be cool, and he may hook you up with something for the trouble. Don't expect anything, just do it to be a nice guy.

Its not that big of a deal. Its just like ZERO said only me and my close trusted friends touch my motor. I am goin up ther here in a bit to talk with the guy and see what ther deal is.

Ok well i drove up ther and talked to the guy i allways deal with up ther. (cool guy has a low 11s stang) He looked it up and found nothing so.. He said that it was probly some new guy or something that just messed up and was vary sorry. Well i get 20% off my next set of tires tho becuz thats something thay could get in big trouble for he said. Well i am glad thats over i am goin to try and be even more careful about my car going into the shop.

Becuz right before i took it up ther the last time(when thay must of did this) i just stuck a 10 doller filter on ther and 20 dollers in oil and thay took it out and put ****ty stuff in
