I was going from one facility to another today(work) and I had no time to stop and get good food for lunch, you know a moon pie or Zingers or sumthin nutritious like that. Anyway I'm in a hurry so I whip into Makodonars(that's how the Japanese say it that's how I spell it) I hit the drive thru and for the sake of speed order a set (combo meal) . I pull up to the window, give the girl my money, drop a little game on her, get pushed back cuz I'm creepy and take me soda. The girl says "please wait 5 minutes",,,,,!?WTF, I say "no ***** please give me my sammich"! I end up sitting off to the side waiting for them to make my food and am durned near late for work. I understand that they don't want to get stuck with unsold food, I've worked fast food before but cmon! Hello, it's call FAST FOOD! I blindly expect it to be FAST!!!! If I wanted to wait for my food I would crash through the front window of Dennys and order a friggin gradslam breakfast! Does McDonalds or Burger King operate under the misguided perception that I eat there for the food? The stuff is crap, it's full of junk and all around divoid of any nutritional value. I eat it because I don't have time to locate good food and to give my stomach something to do so it will shut up so I can get back to important stuff like my seach for the elusive Chasey Lain PEZ dispenser! It just pissed me off and I felt like ranting

LOL!!!!

Yeah, if there's an effective way to piss off a customer, make them wait after promising instant gratification.

Had some taco bell a couple nights ago and since then I've had a sore throat and chills.

The only Fast Food I've ever had that made me sick was Carl's Junior. I hate their food anyway, so its not a real downside, but every time I eat there I get sick.

Carls Jr. is sooooo good man. If I'm hungry and theres no food at home theres always Carls Jr.

if you get sick everytime and don't like their food, why the continous visitations

Good Lord, man! If someone can win a lawsuit for McDonald's food making their kid fat, I'm sure you could rake in something off of that...

What is Carl's Junior? Besides a fast food place obviously lol. I've never seen one around or heard of it.

Best fast food places IMO are Subway and Quiznos. I've never had a bad sandwich from either place and the service is always fast. I guess it just depends on where you go and who's running the place at the time.

Ohhh how I miss Taco Bell, Jack in the Box, Quiznos and d!ck.

I second Carl's Jr being disgusting, I ate there once and vowed never to return.

The fast food places here in Ireland (Chicken Hut, Abrakabras and Supermacs) are not only delicious but also fast.

Carl's Jr is the same as Hardees, but located further west. Owned by the same company, has the same logo. But slightly different menu.

In-N-Out is the best! Period. (Well, except thier fries)

I went to McDonalds one time and tried to pay with my debit card. They had just gotten the equipment to accept cards, and they couldn't figure it out. The manager was busy, but kept looking over. Eventually, after more than five minutes, she walks over, punches in a code, and I got my "food" for free.

Actually that lawsuit failed on the grounds that the family couldnt prove that it was specifically McDonald's that got the kid fat. McDonalds argued that it could have been any number of other factors: lack of excercise, genetic disposition, wendy's, etc...

But yea I have noticed that all the fast food reastraunts make your food after you order it now... its in the name of "freshness" or whatever they wanna call it, but comeon- it's McDonalds... a double cheeseburger is a damn double cheeseburger-- I dont care how long ago they took the pre-cooked ingredients out of their individual containers and assembled them together.

...Oh but no pickles or onions please.. Gross.

Because my roommate loves Carl's Junior. He has no car at the moment (he would have bought my pickup, but my car is in the shop so I can't sell the pickup...long story) so we get food at the same time and he always goes there. I end up getting lazy sometimes and don't feel like going elsewhere, so I buy Carl's Junior.

I won't go back anymore though. Last time I went, they screwed up my order as bad as possible (I wanted chicken strips and some Chili fries. I wanted a ranch and a barbecue sauce. I got two chili fries. Nothing else.) and then they were annoyed when I went back to get the order corrected. I got back and had two cold, nearly chili-less chili fry orders, and they STILL forgot my ranch and barbecue sauce. For $7 bucks, chicken and cold fries and a screwed up order are not worth it.

Subway is good but I did get violently ill from a seafood sub once. I got to call in sick from work and play Playstation all day so it wasn't without a bright side.

I wrote a letter to a local place I used to -love- getting sandwiches from during my lunch breaks. They hired a creeping looking new guy (the other one moved to another restaurant) and I got sick. I'm assuming he didnt wash or something.

A shame, because Soup R Subs chicken salad is the best ever.

I remember hearing a story about a PizzaHut employee adding "special sauce" to the pizzas with a special "hand pump"

Wow. The Pizza Hut I used to work at was a tight ship...no way anything like that went on there. They even made cooks with beards wear a "beard net." I don't doubt there have been people adding their own special ingredients, though. Kinda kreepy.

Me 2. when I was @ McDonalds, the manager was such a nazi. Everyone had to get everything right, and everyone did. Condiments, burgers, whatever it was it we usually got it right. And if any costumer complained, they were rapidly served 1st. Anything to not get corporate on our @ss.
