Last night I installed an AEM Short Ram Intake, first real mod on my recently purchased 1995 240SX Base model. Everything seemed fine, and I drove it to Philly last night and back this morning with absolutely no problems. ( I love the sound!)

But this afternoon, after being home for a couple hours, I go out to run some errands, and my car won't start!!

It won't even turn over. The only thing that works is the digital clock under the speedo and tach, and if I turn the key to the point where the electronics would turn on, nothing happens and the clock goes blank. I assume this indicates a short or no battery.

If i turn on the lights, the same thing happens. It's like the electrical system is dead or something.

Did my battery randomly die for no reason after working fine for a month adn a half? Or is it more serious?

Sorry if some of these seem real obvious, but I don't know what your knowledge level is or what you've already checked.A) Check the positive and the negative terminal on the battery. Make sure they're both tight.. sometimes if it's half-assed attached on either it'll act funny.B) Check all fuses. I've missed a fuse more than once. If you check them all twice, you'll save yourself a few "told-ya-so's" and headslaps later on. (Right Bart?)C) Have the battery tested. Take it down to advanced or autozone and have them test it to make sure it's still good.

Let us know how this goes.
