What temp sensor

I want to know what temp sensor to use for the ecu not the gauge cluster.The temp sending unit for the ecu is the one that I am looking for is there a usdm replacment for a red top s13 motor

Try a ka also, if not try your luck with the usdm sr20de out of the sentra or 200sx.

if my sensors are bad would it make it over heat because my sr over heats and i cant find the problem

sorry to bring up an old thread but can any one confirm that the ka sensor works for the sr?

Look up my old thread. I am still having problems with my CTS. The part I used was for a 93 sentra SER 2.0. The part nunber is WELLS SU4115. WHich is the same part # for the KA. It didnt work. Im still stumped if anybody has any more input.

I have a KA temp sender in my car and it works fine.

Here's the p/n for the 240sx 22630-51E00. took that from our parts sticky and cross referenced it with my parts dealer to confirm that the SR and KA use the same coolant sensor.
