30 means running outside in a sweatshirt, when its 40's we break out the running shorts.

i don't miss coldness at all. just before i moved to cali i lived in the mountains of central washington, where it starts snowing in october and you can't see the grass again until march. why would anyone want to live in a place like that??

Cold>hot any day. I just got back from snowboarding, it was -4 and then we had a substantial wind chill on top of that, it was just about right :) When it got up to 30 I seriously felt warm in comparison...best snowboarding trip ever :D I think I like the cold so much because I live in Texas where I'm inevitably almost always hot.

You know you've become accustomed to the cold of New England when you walk in the house thinking it's maybe 20 degrees out, and it's actually -5. :-) Doesn't bother me a whole lot, I was outside Thursday when it was around 2 out with a hooded sweatshirt and gloves, wasn't that bad at all . . . summer, on the other hand, god help me if there's no A/C. :-)

I'm glad that I don't live where it is constantly cold. ...I don't have to worry about the snow dealy(tires, getting stuck in snow, i can drive my car all-year..) ..and during the summer down here, it gets so hot that we can go jump in a pool... and actually cool off!

..the downside to living down here is that we don't get any snow.. and i wish school would be cancelled on the summer days that it's 100+ degrees as the northerners' schools are cancelled on the snowed-out days.
