what T- size are the RB26 turbos?

Discuss the RB20, RB25 and RB26 series engines.

I have the opportunity to but a RB26 turbo for my CA18 project, but I would like to know what the sizes are for the turbos.

I am not entirely sure if the motor was a sequential twin turbo or true twin turbo so I may possibly have to specify which one is which to the guy...

Anyway please help soon.

IIRC, its a T25. I know its smaller than the RB20 or RB25 turbos. I think you should hold out for your SR T28.

People may put what ever they want on the RB26dett motor, but to answer your question... they allways came from the factory with the same spec turbos at each bank....

You know, I did look around. I have been around here for a while and this is supposed to be a TECH forum.

If I am wrong, I can take it but if I request information and someone just says "your information is out there", thats not very helpful. Is it?

Damn, dude. Good luck getting help now that you said the RB guys are worthless.

Hey Nameless, we've had this conversation before. If you know the specs, you coulda just helped the guy out. Of course the info is out there, but he was hoping to find it in here...

I just want to know what size they are and its all frickin speculation and snobs trying to school me. Eat me!
Perhaps Nameless doesn't know the exact specs and was simply offering his opinion as a member, that he doesn't like them. Did you think of that before you became a total d!ck?

The turbo's are a T25. I can't remember the exact specs myself but the flow numbers are very poor in singular form.

Please feel free to continue your usage of NICO even though we apparently have nothing useful to offer you. I'll be linking this to the admin/moderator panel so we may monitor any further outbursts that clearly disrupt the harmony of any forum they are used in.

Thanks, if you have any further complaints feel free to email me at [email protected] since I moderate this forum.

One is slightly larger than a single Z32 VG30DETT turbo. It is a good bit smaller than the SR T25.

And chill the hell out...

I appologize for my unprovoked attack.

I perhaps should have said this in a different way, but I asked for some help and was met with quite a different attitude than I have experienced anywhere else in the forum.

I was definatly wrong in the way I spoke to the people of this thread, I guess I thought "of course the RB guys would know what the turbo was stock". Meh
