Just a couple of questions, I am looking to buy a set but I am not sure which ones. Any personal experiance? I would like to hear about it. Does anyone know what the factory size swaybar is for an s13? What aftermarket bars is everyone using? How much of a difference can be felt? Thanks in advance, Kyle.

stock rear = crap.

HICAS rear sway = awesome awesome.Stock front sway = awesome awesome.

you can also get a rear sway from a silvia k's... or a skyline.. i want to say r32/r33 gtr rear sway, but I can't say for sure. don't get adjustable until you have all your other suspension stuff. use sway bars to fine tune the rest of your suspension.

Yay for useful info!!

Stock SE front sway bar is 23mm (IIRC)Stock SE rear sway is 15mm (crap = understeer)Stock HICAS/JDM K'sf rear is 21mm (teh win)Stock Convertible/JDM K's front is 24mm

I personally run a stock SE front bar and a JDM K's (bought it from an importer so I can say that ) rear sway with Whiteline bushes. As soon as SPL has their heim joint endlinks up for sale, I will be getting those. Great bars. For a lightly tuned car that will see mostly street time, it can't be beat! And I know of several local guys that use them on their drift/AutoX cars. The best part? A 21mm bar can be had for $50 and the endlink bushes are like $15 a bar

Also, if a Skyline bar will work (and I know nothing of this nor have I heard anything about this working) it would have to be a R32. R33 would work for an S14 if anything.

How about Tanabe? I checked on those I think they are 30.4mm Front and 22mm Rear. Is this overkill, is too large bad? I want to eliminate body roll and make the car fun to drive.

Rico, any links for where I can find the Silvia K sway bar? Grrr... too bad all my money is being dumped into fixing the clutch problems at the moment. Oh, not to jack the thread, but any recommendations for a STB or are most of them all the same?

JDM Silvia K's (Purchased through Nismo Japan), but no different than HICAS Sway bar, awesome handling, actually buying Vert front sway to help balance out the oversteer, but probably the best your money can buy($150)

I'm running Whiteline swaybars. I highly suggest that you get an adjustable rear bar. Mine isn't adjustable and is a little too stiff right now.

those falken tires are nice. i have them on my accord and they are solid tires, very predictable. the only complaint is too soft they wear out to easily.

I take it, this is S13 dimensions? Would they apply to the s14 SE as well??

Whohooo, thanks for the info guys, I just swapped my stock rear with my buddies Hicas 240. Man wat a difference in size, I just got done so hadn't got a chance to go test drive it, it's 11:54 here so I'll wait till tomorrow. Oh anyone know how much of a difference if say I go with whitelines on Tein Coilovers ( I have Flex).

so how does one go about finding a rear hicas swaybar?

can they be obtained at a reasonable price?

id rather not drop $250 on ST
