My 240SX has totally stock suspension and it launches very strong. It's clear that a large amount of the weight it immedietely coming off the front tires and staying off until it's time for 2nd gear pretty much. My concern is that if I lower the car to enhance the cornering and the stance of the car will I upset the launching and weight shifting characteristics of the car?

Mostly I'd like to lower the front 1 to 1.5 inches to level out wheel well spacing and because I hear that putting tighter lower rear springs on the car will fight the back shifting weight so it stays on the front more than that softer springs allowed. Is this true?

Does having tighter lower front springs so that car rest lower effect the traction as much as the rear?

lower the whole thing, as the back would still be a lil higherlowering springs are generally stiffer so it should improve your launch since you'll have a squat or wahtever its called
