What Stuts for 2000 Q?

I'm a newbie to the Q-world, actually don't own one YET, but have my eye on a 2000 with 83k on it. After I buy it, I'd like to replace the struts all around, but I cannot find any struts for this year. I've checked the FAQ for brands and have not found any for that year, mostly for the 90-96 only.

Would someone give me some hints on where I can find aftermarket struts for this vehicle?

Welcome to NCO dude! Nice choice for a car..Q45's ahve always been a neat car to me...

Honestly, Q"s are about the hardest vehicles to find struts for. You may want to PM Wes (elwesso) he has some aftermakrets on his car. Koni or BIlstein should make the fitments...

Are you planning to keep the car stock or relatively so?

Since this will actually be my wife's car, we'll probably keep it pretty stock, unless I can find aftermarket parts for equal or less expense.

I'm a firm believer, however, that an internal cumbustion engine is just a big ol' air compressor, so the faster and smoother I can get the air in and the exhaust out, the more effective (hp+mpg) the engine will be.

I've emailed Wes to see if he has any leads on struts for the Y33 cars.

Hmmm, well, I thought I sent an email (off of your profile), and it hasn't been replied, so perhaps it didn't go through. But now that I've got your attention :-)

Where do I find aftermarket struts for a 2000Q? Not that I want to lower it or anything, just want to replace worn struts with some OEM style replacements, just not at dealer prices if I can help it.
