s2 rb25det s13 stock i/t mani: well in waiting for my pfc to come ive pretty much run out of basic engine bolt ons that i can buy so im starting to get into the susp. end of things right now ive got kyb's and eibach springs but eventually im going to upgrade to coilovers but im going to leave the cotrol arms and such stock with energy bushings (already installed) so aside from needing some sweet coilovers and sway bars the only thing i dont really have is a nismo power brace and strut tower braces. i want to go ahead and get a set of strut tower braces now but dont know which brand will clear the stock i/t mani and still allow for the hood to close. can any one help?

I can't be 100% certian, but you might be able to use an A31 Cefiro or a C33 Laurel strut brace. Those cars share some of the same suspension components like struts. As far as the width, I am not sure. The Cefy's and the Laurel's both came with optional RB turbos in them, so that might give you the extra height clearence, but you might want to go with a straight flat brace instead of an angled bar.

I know you can get A31 and C33 strut braces over here for anywhere from 30-60 bones. If you know someone over here, ask them to hook you up with one.

(Not me though, I have enough on my plate right now as it is and I barely have time for myself...lol. Sorry.)

I ran a Cusco brace the whole time I had my car. It cleared fine and worked awesome, not to mentioned looked good (as you would expect from Cusco). It was for an S13, and they are hard to find but can be had if you look. A good friend of mine has the same one on his S14 SR, so they cant be that rare.
