In a 1995 240sx as an automatic. A picture would be extremely helpful. I have the same issue. Some have mentioned the A/C lines, others suggested removing the front right wheel and fender and using the factory wiring harness gromit. And others suggested drilling a hole into a surprise.

I just need the ideal spot to run a 4 gauge Amp Pwr wire into the cabin from the engine bay. So what gromit do you suggest? (And WHERE)

Prefered Response: A picture with a descriptionLast Resort: Drilling, only if I have to

NOTE: FIXED. Drilled a hole, Problem Solved. TY FOR YOUR SUPPORT

NOTE NOTE: NEW PROBLEM!!!

Is it bad to take a 1" screw to the trunk/gas tank hump? I mean my friend screwed my subs into that hump, as it turns out its a gas tank. How much clearance is there and do you think I punctured the tank?

The easiest thing is going to be to drill a hole where the clutch master cylinder would go. Otherwise, you can pull the fender liner and run it in where the hood release cable goes, but that is a pain.

Yah I kno wat your talking about with the fender. You think it would be possible to slide some steel fish tape into the factory wiring harness and be able to pull it out through the access hole in the firewall without taking the wheel off? And my only prblem with drilling is actually drilling into something that is behind the firewall. I will take a closer look today and see what your talking about.

TY, will try.

Drill OUT from the cabin. It's really pretty easy, you just pop out the bit that would have been to let the clutch pass through and drill right in the middle. Unless you have something aftermarket installed in that area, you won't hit a thing.

I ran mine along the inside of the fender. it was really easy, there is a large plastic cap that covers a hole going into the passenger side fender right next to the battery, run it through there and along the inside of the fender and I used a wire coat hangar to pull it along the fender and put it through the hole where the wiring from the car goes to the door is. to get to the hole from inside the car just take the glove box off and get a flashlight to see where the wire is coming through. pretty easy and you dont have to drill.

take the screw out and drop a match down the hole.... you will def figure it out then.... but really take a flashlight. and look down the hole if you can or smell. that wasnt the best idea in whole world. def worse though
