what spark plugs to use on a s14 sr and ka wiper amp wiring?

i just got my s14 sr in and running but i need to know where to get good plugs, brand and what gap to set them to, its a stock s14 sr. that and i need to know how to wire in the ka whiper amp, i herd you need to switch out the brown wire for the black but it just blew fuses all day long.
