What size? What size?

I want to put components in the front doors of my '91 240SX hatchback. The old factory ones are blown out and if I don't replace them by the time warmer weather comes I'll go insane. The way I see it I can go with either a 6.5" woofer or a 5.25" woofer. As far as sound, obviously the 6.5" will sound better. As far as fit, which will fit my doors better? I've got 4x9's in there now, but I don't want to enlarge the hole too much. Thanks for the help guys.

you can fit 6.5's in there, but you'll need an adapter kit or just go jigsaw crazy on your door 5 1/4 sound fine too

either way, GO THE EXTRA MILE AND GET RID OF THOSE DAMN 4X6's... just as long as the cone is ROUND, you'll get way better sound than any oval cone (6x9's are ok)

oh and you have 4x6's in there... 4x9's would sound soo fuked up, haha :pface
