Those are some nice tires you got there. I'm jealous. Although I am not a big fan of dunlop/goodyear tires I might give them another try.
I'm assuming from the pic. that you already purchased the tire. One thing you have to watch out for in the future when stretching tires is to make sure the tires load index is at least the same or higher than the original equipment tires. Some may argue that it doesn't matter because you're not carrying loads, and a lot of people have done it. The tires has be able to endure the dynamic loads and stresses during driving. Tire load index is especially important when you are concerned about performance. A lower load index will distort more with stresses because the tire stiffness is less. I know you had clearance issues, but some times performance and looks that don't always go hand in hand.
215/40/17 83OE load index 91 You would have to add more air probably at least 5psi to just have the same load carrying capacity of the OE tires at 29psi and I assume nissan only intended that pressure for daily driving. Suspension tuning is the optimal way to tune the cars dynamic tire patch, but just trying to show how pressure and load index affect load capacity.
