What size tires to put on my new Ruff 279 wheels

Hi, I have a 91' Turbo and I just recently came up with a set of staggered 18" Ruff 279. Bought it for $200. My first set of staggered wheels... Fronts are 18 8.5 and rears are 18 9.5. As for the fronts, I'd put 235/40's. For the rear, don't know yet. Without no mods, I'd put 265/35's. Some say 275/285/295 35's will fit. What would you guys prefer and recommend? Cherry wheels brother. Those look like 265s in the pics, a little stretch.
