i'd go with 225-235 on the front, and 255 on the back.. but you can a quite a bit wider on the rear if you want.. but 235/255 combo would be better for handling i'd imagine... you choose the height.

well actually 225 0r 235 tire would be too wide for a 7inch wide rim. 215 is kinda pushing it but you could get away with putting 215's on a 7inch wide rim. for fronts you might want to use something 17x7.5 that way you can have 225/45/17. for the rear since you'd have a 9 inch wide rim i'd say go as wide as 265 nothing wider that that.

You can run 225/50 on a 7" wheel. I think you biggest problem is the large 2" stagger in widths. I heard something like 17x8 F and 17x9 R will produce less understeer.

the bigest problem in this setup is understeer. the second is if you put 225s on the 7s you'd have bubbly looking side walls. so if you have already bought the rims go with the sizs already suggested. if you have not bought the rims yet. then go for 17x8 and 17x9 then a whole new world can open for you. and you can run the tires you want on them without it looking all wierd

with a x7 u can do a 215 pretty good and x9 lots of guys do like "... 215" to like 255. 235-255 should be good depending on your driving style/how your car reacts and how much rubbing clearance.

215 and 235 would work fine, just the rear will be more stretched than the front...the 215 on a 7" will make a pretty much square sidewall

Mine are 17x8 and 17x9, and I currently have 225/45/17 and 245/45/17.. I think I'll be going with 235/40/17 and 255/40/17 when I swap out my Kuhmos with Falkens.. the past 10k miles have been rough on my rears..
