When I got to tirerack.com, im looking for 19" rims for a 2011 altima coupe 2.5S, but there are so many options like 245/35-19, or 215/25-19 how do I know what my range limit is? What can I choose from? I noticed some are cheaper than others, So i dont know how I know? CAn you list the size That are okay?

Thanks

Dude

You need some major research before you commit to buying anything

The 19in diameter is pretty much irrelevant to tire size

What you need to consider fist is the width of the wheel, as well as the offset

Just to throw a number at you, for a "flush" fitment i'd recommend 19x9 +30ish, with 245/35/19 tires

245/35/19 is probably what your gonna want to go for. Everyone here is always willing to help but when it comes to topics like these that have been asked over and over its much easier for you to just search and also better for the forums. Won't take any more time than it does to start a new topic and clutter up nico.

I'm sure you don't mean what you literally typed because that makes no sense. It is very relevant... how is he supposed to install tires meant for an 18" or 20" wheel when he wants 19" rims?

I think you might have taken that outta context a little. I undertand what alphapig was saying and i understand how someone could confuse that. But hes just saying when looking for tires sizes....245/40/19 etc...the first 2 numbers (245/40) are what are most important....obviously you are looking at a 19" tire if your wheels are 19". If you are unable to recognize the right diameter tire for your wheel you definitely are not ready to make a purchase...lol
