More details on your setup?

Also do you plan on driving it on the street? 3.5" or 4" straight pipe is gonna be INSANELY loud, also probably wont sound that amazing, at least put a straight through resonator somewhere in the piping, will clean up the raspyness and quiet it down a hair.

3in is good to 500hp of flow. Anything above that you should run 4".

I/'d run a 3.5" dp to a 4" pipe out. the clearance of a 4" pipe off the turbo in a lhd s13 will be an absolute BEEOOTCH!

i run a 3.5 inch HKS hi-power wit a 4.5 inch out and a high flow resinator... sound beaf***ingutiful... but the bigger the better... on a turbo car you do not need any back pressure.

"Needing some backpressure" is a completely bulls*** myth, for both turbo AND n/a cars. Read and learn........

my 240 has 3" and put down over 600. so use what ever size u want but due it becouse you want it not becouse you think you need it... my outlaw car put down 1400 on low boost through 5" when I switched it to 6" aluminum I did it for looks and weight not air flow..just my 2 cents..

anything straight pipe is going to be loud. 3, 3.5, or 4. 3.5 and 4 are harder to fit. depends what your power goal is. over 600whp i'd say do a 4. otherwise it's just more expensive and harder to fit.

Ide suggest at least throwing a bullet muffler inline or something to clean up the rasp. It will quiet it down a hair without effecting the flow very much, and clean up the sound a lot. I'm going 3.5" or 4" with my VGT setup this spring but im planning on running a bullet muffler to at least clean up the sound a little bit. I'm not to worried about noise level since the VGT at full closed A/R will quiet it down a lot.
