what size speakers do i have

i have a s13 i thought i had 4x6 speakers front and back... but someone on this forum told be its 4x6 in the front and 6.5 in the back... is this true?... i need speakers

nope wrong, 4x6s all around, dude proly modifed 2 put 6.5s in the back

I plan on 5x8s in the rear myself

Hello,

That's interesting because I just put a new sound system in my S13 and the back greedily swallowed up two 6 1/2 with no problem. The bolt holes even matched up! The speakers in the rear were stock; but "Active Sound" system........whatever that was.

The front speakers are a different matter though. They are definately 4x6 but they sit in a special enclosure that allows the window to roll down all the way. Still, I managed to put some Rockford Fosgate component mids in there with no problem as long as I used a few washers for space.
