I took the wheels off my 300zx and put them onto my 97 240sx. The tires are rubbing agaist the coil. Im only testing the wheels so only the front driver side is on.

They fronts are 245/40/18

Rears are 265/40/18(Rears arnt on yet, will the fit?)

If not spacers is there another solution. Will the rubbing wear itself out?? I smell rubber after most drives!.

Serious??

What are the widths and offsets on the wheels? You may just need to step down a tire size. 235 instead of 245.

put washers under the wheel on the studs and bolt the wheel on and see if it spins freely. Repeat until it doesn't rub. Measure the thickness of the washers or stack of washers and get a spacer that big. If you can actually drive it now i would think a 1-2mm would be all you need.
