ok so i have sportmax 006 wheels. 18x8.5 fronts 18x9.5 rears. they are +45 offset on all of them. i have 50mm overfenders in the rear and 20mm silvia conversion fenders in the front. so i have 2 questions

1. what size spacer do i need so i dont rub on my suspension (im running kyb non agx with eibach lowering springs)?

2. what do you recommend as an appropriate tire size for all the wheels (i was thinking 275/40/18 for the rear)?

thanks guys

ok. do you want us to recommend a spacer size for good fitment or for no rubbing issues?

for flush fitment, you wil need at least 50mm spacers all around. maybe double that in the back. basically you will end up spending as much money on spacers as you did for the wheels.

get new, better fitting wheels.

Those sizes on stock fenders will be sunk as hell.

With overfenders? Forget about it.

I would suggest buying some wheels that would be a better match for your fenders and then add some spacers if needed.

+10 to +15 offset on a 9" wheel is pretty square on a stock body. you have a 50mm fender, why? idk. so you're gonna have to play catch-up with those +40/+35 or w/e you have. thats why the big spacers are recommended

the overfenders were for looks but i thought i might as well fill them up...i plan on cutting my stock rear panels anyway...i just need to push the wheel further out away from my shock thats all

jeez. +45 wheels and 50mm overfenders? yikes. theres no reason for the overfenders or the super high offsets.

My advice get rid of the wheels. If you havent already do a 5 lug vert. Then Get some decent fitting wheels.Going with the Overfender with +45 wheels was a bad idea.

well i like my overfenders, the wide body look is sick...so i will end up dumping the rims. any idea what size rims i should look to buy if i do want to fill in those over fenders? probably negative offset too huh

Yeah, you'll need to big of a spacer to fill in your fenders.I wouldn't run a 275. I ran a 235/40 on a 18x10 wheel I used to have and it only had minor stretch it really depends on what tire brand you buy.

And yeah you'll prob need to be in the negative offsets.. maybe. I'm not sure search around for a picture thread of offsets. Probably something low at least

Probably something with a low offset... +10 maybe +15 at most then a set of spacers. size wise on spaces that would be your opinion like people said do you want the clearance as well as flush-ness. Or are you just trying to clear the suspension components. money plays a factor in this too for you.

Staggered fitment with a 10inch wide wheel out in the back nothing smaller I'd say.

18x10 -20. And if you got overfenders without reason, I'm assuming you are still at stock ride height? Please sell the wheels and overfenders and buy coilovers. Then focus on wheels. Stock 1/4 panels with good fitting wheels looks a million times better than overfenders with ridiculously sunken wheels.

I agree with him. If you are at stock height, do as he says.Overfenders and sunken wheels is like double failure. You jumped the gun when you got the overfenders and those +45sI can see you have a love for the wide body look, so im sure convincing you to sell the over fenders is pointless.

So yeah get 18x10 wheels with a low offset, negative if at all possible, im guessing you are also still 4 luggin?Once you get the wheels and spacers, post pics of ur car, id love to see this 100mm wider beast of urs.

wheels dont necessarily need to be 18s. just at least 10 inches wide. i guess 9.5 could work too. try to find some wheels with a low offset (around 0), from there you can always add a small spacer to make it perfectly flush.

thanks guys for your help...as you can tell im fairly new at this and i bought everything out of order...so ive just been trying to make it up and compensate as i go along...yes the widebody look really appeals to me...hence the overfenders...im not at stock ride height i am lowered almost 2 inches all around...im planning on selling my current suspension (kyb non agx with eibach progressive springs) and doing a coilover setup (possibly stance)...well its a learning process and im learning the hard way...thank you guys a lot for your help and i will post pictures as soon as i get them...thanks again

did they change the offset on the 006's the set i have for the track are 18x 8.5 front and 18x9.5 rear and the offset is + 35. i use 10mm spacers up front with rolled fenders and -1 degree camber 225/40 and no spacer on the wheel and -2.5 camber in the rear with rolled fender 245/40 and can't put a peice of paper between my fender and tire ditch those over fenders and rock stock fenders with those wheels.
