I have a de that I am going to throw a turbo on. as of now its on the engine stand waiting on arp head studs. i have the stock replacement de/det HG from the rb25 gasket kit. I found that the DE has 10:1 compression and IIRC the HG is .051 thick and 86mm bore. the rotating assembly is still stock and hasn't been rebuilt with 60,000 miles on the ODO. I just want 300-350 if I can get that now as a DD, until I rebuild the motor.

Which gasket and what thickness should I go with?

9:1 ftw?

Could I reach my goal with the oem HG, copper spray, and 93 oct?

An oem gasket could handle 350 easily. There are setups with 400+ on oem.

the rb25de has a point higher of compression than the det... i know that the gasket can physically hold it, i'm worried about detonation on pump gas.
