Or he could be mentioning the Elite vs MW2 Xboxs, but either way here is the scoop
If you are interested in a Xbox:- Xbox allows you to "install" games onto the HDD. It runs the games much quieter and allows for faster loading times.- Each Xbox game is around 4GBs - 6.7GBs- I have a 20GB Xbox HDD and I can only have about 2 games installed at a time, but I play 3 or 4.- If you plan on having a larger game library and like the pros of installing games, I would opt for the larger HDDs.
If you are interested in a PS3:- They don't have the ability to "install" games like Xbox- I have a 60GB PS3 and I only use 1GB or so. The largest gaming file I have is about 5MBs (NCAA 09)
But you have to take into consideration that each HDD size for consoles usually gives you other options. So if you want wireless gaming remember that base PS3s have smaller HDDs but it does not come with the wireless option. I am not to sure about the different Xbox options but wireless internet will cost you about $80 for a wireless adapter
