You do not need backpressure.

Get the HKS hiper in 60 (or 65?) mm format.

you need some back pressure in a non-turbo car to prevent "back filling" of the combustion chamber. the HKS hiper in a 65mm will provie a nice compromise between top-end pull and mid-range. you can also check into any "NA" exahust spec from blitz, rs-r, etc. Also maybe check out the apex-i N-1 dual.

Could the back fill prevent my car from starting? I just put a engine in my 240 and we have spark fuel and compression. All i have for exhaust is a header i am making sure it starts and runs before i spend any more money on other things.

no back pressure wont keep the car from starting, it just causes some power loss.... just a header should provide enough pressure to keep the car running, I would think.
