What Size Are Your Exhaust Tips?

I'm looking for some larger than stock exhaust tips. Probably larger than most people would rock, but not comically large. I've been thinking of going with dual 4 inch outlets.

Does anyone have pictures of their exhaust tips, with exact sizes?

Those look nice! For some reason I thought 4" would look bigger than that.

Do you know what size outlet and inlet the stock tips are?

The stock tips are part of the stock muffler, and actually have a fake sheathing over them to make them appear bigger. I would say 3" or smaller for the sheathing (tops) and 2.25" or smaller for the actual tips inside the sheathing.

Remember, mine are double walled. the OD is 4". I would say the ID of mine are about stock size, and my tips are 2.25" inlet. If they were single walled, 4" might look huge, but I haven't seen any like that in person so i don't know.

the stock 3.5 tips have 3.5in outlets. but somewhere in the 2s for the inlet. does changing to those change the sound?

My 08 had the faux tip over the actual outlet. Its pretty much a straight through from inlet to outlet of the actual exhaust. I wouldn't think changing tip size would affect sound in any noticeable way. I'm going to try and get a youtube video of my setup's sound. Trying to get the wife to record it is tough though.
