The sizes needed are -8 (1/2") or -6 (3/8"). -8 is for the sender line and -6 is the return line.

from dales thread, does this sound right?

Alright just got done fixing it. What i ended up doing was just using the nylon fuel line to fix the leak. I used 1/4" nylon fuel line to fix it.

DAMN. TOO LATE!

I had the same issue too. You don't have to replace the line. Just put on the fule hose (Fuel Injection type ONLY) over the leak and clamp down from both sides of the patch as well as on top of the leak. Easier and more reliable.

Not right now. It's the same hose used for connecting to your fuel filter and the engine. If you use the wrong hose such as the one for Carb engines or a vaccum hose, it'll break up within days.

if its rotted out hard line, cut it at least an inch past the rust and

1.) Bubble flare both ends and use 5/16ths Fuel Injection hose with FI hose clampsor2.) Get hard line fittings (2 male, 2 female unions) and a piece of hard line with fittings already attached, MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE ENDS WILL WORK BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE STORE !!!!i.e. that you have all the right sizes3. Replace the whole line with brand new hard line, NOT NYLON !!
