I don't want something agressive that comes down too low. These ones look perfect BUT I don't know what style they are. Others that look like them come down too low to the ground

Hmm. Curious.I take it you are asking about the car in the first picture yes?

Im not 100% but they kinda look like Bomex Type 1s.

I too like the not too aggressive look, and will be getting BMX type 1s

TMS has it right. They are the OEM sideskirts for the Silvia with the aero kit.

Shipping will kill you in your sleep. That's why they are $700+

Yeah....I got one for $725 shipped off ebay.....no vents. I got my vents from another guy locally for $50. I had called around for months to importers and nobody had one....so I finally plunked down top dollar on ebay.

Those skirts are definiately oem. That silver car can be seen at http://www.stillensucks.com ...it has Porsche calipers up front too btw.

Shipping was $150, so I paid $600 for it...which is worse than what they used to go for (used to be $500 a few years ago). It's in great shape, no cracks. It's a premium to pay, but I refuse to use fiberglass, my car rides too low and I'm not a fan of the K's or Q's bumper without a bomex lip...which...is fiberglass so that defeats my purpose.

Yeah fiberglass is ghey as fawk. I hate it... And I hate the overdone stock silvia bumpers that like everyone and their mom has, and the aero bumpers are sooo hot, and not fiberglass:D I also though about going urethane but still kinda hard to come by for a silvia(or at least in the states). Anybody using FRP???? Have any good experiences???? Yeah I noticed that too with our cars no abs lips wtf???Fiberglass blah....

Ganma, kinda off topic...in what part of Denver do you live? I might be relocating there later in 2009. I used to live there as a kid, my dad moved back...and I may follow him. He lives in Littleton.

Funny you should mention that because I'm from Charlotte lol. I live in the Parker area. I'm pretty familiar with littleton though. Hey it's always cool to have a fellow CA goer if you do decide to head out this way. Lord knows there's maybe 4 or 5 of us in the state. There's maybe one guy from the springs, me and robert in denver, and a couple of guys up north.(maybe a couple others idk about either). One thing I have to say though is unless you live in the smokey mountains lol tuning is going to be really fun up here at 12,000+ feet above sea level (or more in some places).

You probably could quite easily, however getting rid of the donor car that you got the vin from might be the issue. I know some junkyards wont take cars without a title now...which...you'd be keeping. I also would get it inspected at a friendly shop as a few stickler shops might get their jollies busting "ricers" and their swaps (vin swap in this case).

Would probably end up keeping both cars, just one would be vinless lol, maybe made into a track/drift car only. I just think it would be 1,000,000 times easier then trying to convert everything over. And I've got the inspection covered because a friend of mine works at the testing facility. But the only thing I can think of is I would have to have a friend in Canada say he was going on a trip, bring the car down, then fly him back and just keep the car here lol. Ahhh well hopes and dreams:D One of these days. Well in 2014 we can start importing R32's lmaooooo:) (at least ones from 1989). Because then they will be 25 years old lol. Stupid US and all their EPA crash testing bull crap.
