you will have a hard time selling it because it's an auto...
i used to have a '96 model that was freaking maticulous, and when i decided to sell it and turbo my s13 it took me like 2 or 3 months to sell it because it was an auto... i got 6 grand for it 1 year ago, but i had a bit of money invested in it in the sound system and alarm and misc stuff, but no performance parts...anyhow what i'm getting to is that i got a million calls from people who loved the car and thought it so beautiful and all, and even though the add said it was an auto people would call just to make sure it was an auto because everyone wanted it just not an auto....
if that car had been a standard i could have gotten 1 grand more for it easily because people wanted it so bad...
so i'd say you're probably looking at getting maybe $4500-5000 depending on the shape of the car overall.... my car was perfect in all aspects pretty much, so for flaws (paint or whatever) just deduct money from it and know that you will not get what it's worth, even if the flaws are minor. selling a car sucks because a lot of times you'll look at it and go "screw these guys my car is great, and i want to keep it rather than sell it to this douchebag for cheap..."
good luck selling but i'd be surprised if you got $5k for it because it's older and probably has cosmetics stuff that needs to be done (paint, maybe weather stripping is worn out, things like that...) but without pics and looking over the car this estimate is only an very general estimate... keep that in mind, and always aim a little high when listing it, because no matter what the price is, even if it's way low, peopole will ofer you less money. good luck.
oh one more thing... be sure that you can point out to people that it has no mechanical flaws, because generally people shy away from performance oriented upgraded vehicles because they are generally not the best cars mechanically after they get beat up... not that yours is a crapper but just make sure that you point out to people that it is in good mechanical condition and that you took good care of it... if this is the case of course
