I have this viper "unit" if you will that looks like it's wired up already. I'm pretty sure it's the only alarm component on the car. I don't have the remote(s) to it or anything else. I didn't see the horn/speaker thingy that usually installed under the hood. My question is, what do I do with it? Trash it and get a new unit? Idk how old this thing is either. Halp!

WOW! I have been installing Viper units for 16 years now, and that thing is before my time even. I would highly suggest you chuck it in the trash. Who knows if it works properly!?! One new remote for it will cost $45...... if I could even get one. Figure that a brand new Viper 350HV that comes with two remotes is only $129 shipped from me.

That's pretty funny. Can I still salvage the wiring? Is this how you hook up your current alarms? I'm also going to be in the market for an alarm as well as my audio setup so you might get a two-for-one in a few months!
