I am not rich. If you want to talk to someone rich, talk to Bob. He's got 7 vehicles (I think he said that). I only have two and both of them are below 30k. I'm 37, and I don't own a home. Although, I could have if I hadn't blown a bunch of money on a few extensively modded cars and trucks. I am just trying to pass on some hard learned lessons that no one has ever taught me. It's fun to mod, no doubt. But, don't forget your future.
If you had the money... that's precisely my point. If you didn't blow it on a car with limited potential and after market support, you could've gotten a faster car with greater performance potential.
As I've said before, quite clearly if you had bother to read, in the end it's your money. Do as you wish. There is no point in getting upset. I have nothing to gain from your loss, and I have nothing to lose by your mistakes. It's all up to you. Advice was sought, and I obliged. Isn't that what being a part of a forum is about? rather than the name calling and character assassinations common to the likes of Mr. LS?

I see your point, but I think in the case of the Versa it's because the vehicle was never positioned or designed as a budget performance platform like the 240s or the Sentra SE-Rs. If it was, I think you would have had companies lining up to develop parts before the car is released for sale at dealers. A few more examples... Subaru WRX, various Honda Si's and Type-Rs, Mitsubishi EVO, Eclipse and the other DSMs... the list goes on and on.
Seriously. I work on advertising for Nissan and Infiniti. The Versa was never intended to be the modder's choice. The concept car that gave the Versa its shape was, but the usual things happened between the boardroom and the dealer showroom. If you want something affordable and performs, write to Nissan and let your voice be heard.
