I'm trying to decide on a project to start in a few months. Just pick what option you'd do and say why. I really appreciate this as I'm having a hard time deciding. I'm looking for something to have fun with, looks good, and people respect it's power.

Anyone have any other input on this? If you own an example of what I might do, tell me about your likes and dislikes. I had a regular KA 240sx before, so don't know how the turbo's are.

Hmmm you already know my opinion but I'll say it again. Go for the 240sx with the built KA.

I voted for the old z... it would be the least expensive project, get the most head turning, and scare people at lights.

Least expensive? I'm not sure how much those awful dinosaurs of engines are, but just the car itself is probably gunna require moderate restoration, and god forbid any rust. Plus the chassis just wasn't intended to take big power and is flimsy. The later 280's were better in this regard but the 240's need some decent frame bracing and a thorough checking-over to make sure the metal-to-rust ratio is atleast 1:1.

240 w/built KA-T. I expect to see pictures and video of the project, including any injuries incurred along the way (because believe me, there will be plenty). Enjoy.

Oh, and of course a built KA-T would dominate the other choices.

The Z would most likely NOT be the most inexpensive. Restoration is EXPENSIVE. The KAT is my choice.
