what upthis is my storyi have a 89 240sx fastback that i got for 1800 canadian , me and a couple buddies got a great price on a red top sr gruop buy. so heres my only problem i want to know if my car will be strong enuff and worth it , if i put the sr in , there is rust on the side skirts and a bit on the frame , the engine well , has rust on the strut tower braces (is that fixable?) i cn get everything like sideskirts fixed like cut out metal and put in new metal , for cheap but really want to know what to do from a good point of view .should i sell the car and buy a new 240 with less rust ? if i should i just want a shell with no rust is this hard to find?plz help im soo worried!here are some pics

Rust on towers means pretty bad thing...I don't think its worth the time putting the SR in to a car thats rusting.

The rust on the sideskirts isn't a big deal, but on the strut towers, that's a bad sign. I would say wait for a better car to put the SR in. Find one with no rust...rust is cancer =)

ok ive decided i have to let her go , but i dont want to loose any money off her i got her for bout 2000 canadian so id like to get that back , and buy just a shell with no engine thats in good shape where can i find one ?and how can i sell this car?

Since you're selling the car cause it's rusty, Let's trade hatches! i don't think i have much rust if any on it anyways. so what if it's red
