There's a 95 SE for sale w/ 113k miles. The guy is asking $3800, KBB value is $5785 in good condition. But there's a catch, it was just in an accident, so the hood, bumper and one of the front quarter panels were all replaced and are black and unpainted, and the car is gold. No structural damage from the accident or anything. So one thing i would have to do is paint that, I would just paint the whole car black, so that's a bunch of money. The car needs a new clutch, A/c doesn't work so I think that's just because it needs to be recharged, a few dents on the rear side of the car about 6 inches but not too serious, radio doesn't work cause it needs some connector or something, and he said something about pluggin the airbag up w/ something under the seat, cars gonna need new rotors soon, check engine light came on while driving it but my brother said nothing seemed wrong (it's 2 1/2 hours from my house, my brother lives where the car is) and a plus is it has 4 new futura tires, but they suck a** so i'd eventually need to replace those. So what should I do, wait for another s14 to come along or buy this one and fix it up?:help

Unless you have the extra $$$ I would wait till something better came along, but thats just my opinion. It doesnt sound like the car would be too reliable. I would rather have the extra money to spend on mods than having to spend it fixing the thing all the time.

With the mileage, even if the car was in PERFECT shape it would be hardly worth that kind of money. Well, It wouldn't be a bad deal if everything was in working order, and paint really isn't all that expensive. However, it sounds like some costly repairs in your future, I'd say stay away. Or, just laugh at the guy and say. "what the hell are you trying to sell me?!!!", then offer him 2 grand.. might not work, but you'll weaken the guy for the next tire kicker!

no the car is worth the money if it was in good condition with that many miles...remember 240 engines are truck engines and those go all out...so you can easily break 200K mark and besides used engines with under 100K are cheap and not hard to find.

that's how much I paid for my car and there was nothing wrong with it really except old struts in the front...but from what it seems...the s14 is hard to find cheap in that guy's area. He should move down to TX. heh

My mistake, i was looking at the $5785, I forgot he said he was getting it for $3800, but still...... that's too much for a car with that many problems from the start!

it was gold 99% complete, he bought it for 2500 didn't do anything and then turned around and sold it for 4800 to one of his friends, who wasn't aware he posted an ad saying it was for sale for 3800.
