So, I hauled the wife and kids 200 miles to the Infiniti Dealer last weekend to have my trade looked at. They evaluated the trade and gave me a price. I am happy with the price on the G37, and to be honest the price on the trade isn;t bad but I wanted them to give me $500 more (on my trade). Well, they are not responding to my emails now. I emailed several times now with no response. Even found out the email address of the new car sales manager and emailed him too, no response.. are they trying to wait me out of what? I really don't feel like starting over with a new dealer but also don't like let the dealer win....thoughts?

Try e-mailing other dealers. One of the guys I work with just bought an Audi from a dealer in Chicago which is nearly 500 miles away. He passed up several dealers that were closer to home. The owner of the foreign car shop I use bought a Jetta over the phone from a dealer in the next city because he got a better deal there than from any of the locals.

So, were you negotiating at the end of Aug, and now that it's the first of Sept they won't call back? You would wait closer to the end of this month.
Or, check other dealers in your area.
Is the Infiniti dealer that's 200 miles away the closest??

Does the end of the month play that much into it? There is a closer dealer (actually in my area), but they do not participate in any of the auto buying programs I was using. The same vehicle from my local, low volume non-program participating dealer is over $2500 more..

The more time goes on and these idiots don't respond to me the madder I am getting.. I wonder if they are figuring on that and that I will end up caving in..

What should I do?

What I think you should do is keep things simple.
The negotation over the price of a new vehicle is one thing.

Selling your current vehicle is another

Obtaining funds to pay is another.

You can easily get pricing over the internet from multiple dealers.

Put a For Sale sign on your current vehicle

Check out credit unions, banks, etc for purchasing a vehicle.

Never answer a sales persons question of how much can you pay per month or how you intend to pay.
Your reply should be lets settle on a price of the vehicle I want first.

DO NOT BE IN A RUSH OR SHOW EXCITEMENT TO A DEALER.
You can always tell them you are going to check out a Nissan Maxima and are going to think about the price they gave you

I generally buy my vehicles in December and purchased my current G35 on December 31st 2005 at 11 AM

Good luck
