I need some advice on what to do. I stripped the threads on my s13 sr20 blacktop block where the oil line for the turbo connects to the block. How should I repair this?? I was thinking about helicoils but the bolt for the oil line has a hole in it so the helicoil will block the way. I dont want to take my block out either. any Ideas??

I know you posted this a while back...like I said before, machine shop will solve all your problems. Should think about replacing the stock lines with steel braided lines after fixing the oil hole.

If you want you can retap the hole your self but I would be VERY VERY VERY careful about shavings goin into the block. If you do tap it make sure you always clean out the shavings and dont let anything into the block.

It might be easier to let a machine shop do it.

You can try using a helicoil. I dont know what you mean when you say that the helicoil will block the whole in the banjo bolt. The hole for the banjo is in the middle of the bolt and the small hole on the side of it had the banjo slid over it.
