So I ended up with a sr20det swapped s13, which is pretty much confusing the hell outta me. It has a precision sc61 turbo, tial 38mm wastegate, and when I got it, it was running 15psi. At the time I didn't know much about nissans, I used to be a honda guy. But anyways, from what I can tell it is still running stock injectors, probably stock fuel pump, stock maf. I soon turned down the boost to around 10, I did a compression test and got 150 on all cylinders dead even, so it isn't bad. But I would think it would be maxing out the injectors at boost levels like that? Cause that sc61 has to be moving a lot of air. It has a Mines ECU which I believe is stage 2, and when I put the stock ECU on it, it runs extremely rich, pretty much pooring out black smoke. But what else gets me is the AFR is around 12.0-12.5 in boost at WOT, no cutting out or anything. So I was just wondering what I should be doing about all this? I am not driving the car much, just the ocassional here and there to test some changes I have done to the car. But I know I should get bigger injectors if these are stock, and I have a q45 MAF sitting around that I got with the car to install. I have an ECU that has already been chipped but I doubt tuned. How safe does it seem at the moment? Cause from what I have gathered this is a terrible set up and sounds like it would destroy the motor?

These questions can help us help you figure it out:

- What color are your injectors plugs & harness connectors?
- Are they side feed or top feed?
- Can you give us a picture of them?
- Is there an adjustable fuel pressure regulator installed?
- What is the MAF part number?

Upgraded injectors, MAF and fuel pump can visibly look just like stock until you dig deeper to do some checking. If it idles & runs fine at WOT then the Mines ECU is likely running on a good base tune, and you probably have the correct matched MAF & injectors for the ECU.

:)

Edit: BTW forget about the Q45 MAF - it will not provide the desired increased voltage range as an upgrade despite the bigger diameter. Basically worthless.

If someone has a bigger turbo on their i would assume they better have bigger injectors and most likely a walboro in the tank to feed them! Just saying, check the tank to see what ya got!
