I have Tein HE coilovers, B&M shifter, pilot strut bars, electric fans, and should be ordering an SR next spring/summer.

Now that I reread the post, I think its a tie between LSD or exhaust..... ITS BRM, you might as well!

The only reason for hesitation on the exhaust is that I don't want to have to buy new when I get the SR.

While I'm sure they'd love the business, there's no reason to buy an exhaust twice =) Go with the LSD, I hear they're magnificent!

I found a junkyard with a J30 differential but it's a 93 and it was missing one axle. Well this sucks, so it pretty much rules out the VLSD, because I'm not paying $500 for one.

If your lucky like me you can find a s15 helical with output shafts for $350 shipped. Well it really wasn't all luck. I worked my *** off calling every place in the world and send out a ton of emails and then about 3 weeks after that one of the people I sent an email to sent me one saying he just got one in stock. He wanted 350 shipped I figured I could get him down about $50 but seriously I have only been offered $900 before that so I was really happy and it is still less than it would have sold for on ebay. Anyway, I dont know if you are set on the j30 but you can get s13 vsld from multiple dealers including a couple of the sponsors for around 300 + shipping.

I think he's saying upgrading your tires will give you a bigger improvement bang for your buck than LSD. I agree with him, but I think upgrading to Z rated rubber will cost more than $400 for a set.

I have Pirelli's with about 2000 miles on them on my car already, and they're a high rating. I'd have to go check to see what they exactly are though. I wish they were wider, but when they wear I'll buy new wheels.
